The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies has issued directions that need to be
complied with by .za website/domain owners, and certain other stakeholders in the digital space.
This has been gazetted(Vol. 657, 26 March 2020, No. 43164), and can be viewed online
These directions must be read together with regulations in the DISASTER MANAGEMENT ACT, 2002.
Relevant excerpts for .za website/domain owners can be viewed at the bottom of this page.
The requirement for .za website/domain owners, is that their website must have a
notice on the landing pages with a visible link to www.sacoronavirus.co.za.
This seems to apply to .za domains, even if there is no active website on that domain.
To assist in this regard, and given the time constraints to fulfil these requirements, Mplanet has
created an automated ordering process to speed up client applications, and fulfilment of orders.
We are charging a nominal fee to set up these notices:-
